Accessibility

Aerovector wants aerovector.cfd to be usable by as many visitors as possible, including people who navigate by keyboard, people who rely on a screen reader, and people who need text to remain legible when a page is enlarged. Accessibility is treated as part of ordinary site maintenance rather than as a separate project that is finished once and then forgotten. This page describes the approach taken and explains how to report a barrier if you meet one.

Pages on this site are built with a clear heading order, descriptive link wording, text alternatives for meaningful images, and colour combinations chosen so that body text stays readable against its background. Interactive elements such as the enquiry form and the expandable question sections are intended to work without a mouse, with a visible indication of where keyboard focus currently sits. Where a page contains a decorative graphic that adds no information, it is marked so that assistive technology can pass over it instead of announcing it.

Content is written in plain language wherever the subject allows it, with short paragraphs, headings that describe what follows them, and tables used for comparisons rather than for laying out ordinary text. Video and audio are not required in order to understand any service described here, and the essential information on each page is available as readable text on that page. If a document or format on the site is difficult for you to use, Aerovector will try to provide the same information in a form that works better for you.

Some parts of this website are supplied by external services, most importantly the enquiry form on the contact page, and Aerovector does not control every aspect of how those embedded components behave with assistive technology. Where an embedded component creates a barrier, the practice offers a direct alternative, since any enquiry that can be sent through the form can equally be sent by email to aidansowa@outlook.com or given by telephone on 401-219-4207. Those routes reach the same people and are answered in the same way.

If you encounter an accessibility problem on this site, please describe the page involved, what you were trying to do, and the technology you were using, and send that description to aidansowa@outlook.com or call 401-219-4207 so the issue can be reproduced and addressed. Reports are read by the practice itself, and fixes are prioritised according to how completely a barrier prevents a visitor from reaching the information or the enquiry route they came for. Aerovector reviews this statement as the site develops, and it welcomes specific criticism over general reassurance.
